Dress With Purpose :: Be Inspired :: Pencil Skirts :: Navy & Green Stripes
by DressWithPurpose
Happy Wednesday!
My Purpose :: Super thankful tests yesterday were negative, woohoo!!!! Still waiting on some other test and hopefully soon some answers to the exhaustion and all the other stuff, lol! We will start the morning seeing a house, then super excited to be on a conference call with Betsy Ringer of iBloom, then off to the hubby’s office to work for a little bit, then off to my daughter’s college softball game, dinner with my dad and a chill night at home!
My Inspiration :: I was inspired today by feeling comfy and fashionable (lol)! I was standing in my closet and I got excited about this combination of color and especially since emerald green is the color of the year! It’s a casual yet versatile outfit, which I love being able to purpose outfits that can carry me through different events. Have a great rest of the week and Choose everyday to “Dress With Purpose”!

Here is how I was inspired by this sweater before…
I have a tendency to get lazy about dressing with purpose since I left corporate america. Now working mostly in the privacy of my home I don’t feel as compelled to go all out yet I feel better when I do. I’ll have to work on this. 🙂
Hi Kim, I can so totally relate to that! I spent a number of years in the Corporate America and when I came home to help my hubby’s business and be a stay at home mom to our teenagers I fell into that same pattern! I learned though that on the days I made an effort to be a functional and productive human being by getting dressed (lol) not in my jammies and no makeup, that my self-confidence improved which made my family so much happier, because I was happier!!! I like to challenge my clients that are work at homers that find themselves in the same position as we are that making the choice and being intentional about Choosing Everyday to Dress With Purpose will find themselves more present in their businesses and life! 🙂
I love the outfits. Your post was very nice. I like that it includes something personal and fashion tips.
Thank you so much Lynnae! I am truly inspired like you to encourage women to love who they are and the body that God has given to them and their wardrobes can inspire them towards that!!! 🙂
My favorite are the jeans! Casual yet ADORABLE 🙂 Love it!
God bless you Manda!

Now THESE are prices that I can get behind 🙂 I love seeing all the different looks with the sweater.
Thanks Lorri, I know right the prices on this one was a steal of a deal!!! So glad you like the extra looks, I really want women to experiment and have fun with the wardrobes. 🙂
Very Cute! The colors look beautiful on you! I love pieces that you can wear to create multiple looks.
Awe thanks Sue! The funny thing about the extra looks is I sometimes get re-inspired when I put these together! 🙂
Gorgeous! I so needed the reminder to “dress with purpose” today! Too often I allow yoga pants and hoodies to be the uniform of this work at home mama of two littles under two!
Thanks for the push to get dressed! Haha!
Thanks so much Alle! It is my true passion to encourage women to spend that few extra minutes even a busy mom of two on you and make yourself feel beautiful! 🙂
